Hi people. Basically since i updated my SGS2 to 4.0.3. other day whe ni txt my girlfriend she isnt recieving anything from me. It was fine before i updated, i can ring her no problem and she can txt me without a fault. I can send a txt and its says sent but she doesnt recieve anythin

I have been onto help line twice and they say settings are fine etc. They recommended her gettting a new sim card as hers is quite old.However my girlfriends mates who all have latest phones dont have a problem sending her txts. I also borrowed my dads new SGS3 with 4.0.4 software on and my girlfriend recieved txt fine too, so find it hard to believe its her sim card its just me she isnt getting them from since update. Any ideas? Thanks.

Welcome to the eForum.

Did you do a Factory Reset after the Update?

If not I would recommend backing up your "stuff".

Then open the dialer and type: *2767*3855#

This will WIPE your phone clean and get rid of any trace of Gingerbread left on your Phone.

It also correctly formats the internal Storage.

It's the same as if you bought the phone from New!

Thanks for reply. I did a reset last night and she still not receiving any txts from my phone. I wouldnt mind but she is on vodafone and on my account aswell lol.

I can see me going into the shop with both phones and saying whats wrong with theses two.
