Hi All,
I sent my S2 off to the Samsung service centre to get repaired due to the constant echo issue during calls.
Now according to Royal Mail they signed for my phone at the beginning of this week.
I have been trying to follow the progress of my repair online, as I was instructed I could do, but all it ever says is "pending"
Is this normal for them? How long do these repairs usual take?
Take care,
Keith

It depends how you did this if Samsung Tecnical sorted this then it goes direct to there secound tier service
Now the online tracking can be glitchy now you can ring the UK customer service to ask them to look into this
To do this go Via the apps team and ask them to transfer you
If it says pending they have the phone at least
Most repair on adverage take five days they do a 24hr soak test
when sending a phone back its better to take it or send it to your loacal service centre so they can chase up any further problems
If the address was London or Glassgow then it is at a secound tier
When mine was there it did show pending for two days before it showed with Eng.

Hi Buddy,
The phone got sent to Regenersis (Glasgow) Limited, is this there second tier then?
I booked the phone in online via the Samsung support website and then sent the phone off Royal Mail Special Delivery
I will give it a bit longer and see if the status changes over the next few days.
Take care,
Keith

Hi Buddy,
Have just checked the status and in now says "delivery in progress".
I am assuming this means they have fixed my S2 and it is on its way back to me?
Take care,
Keith

Got my S2 back today and it appears to be fixed, called my wife and she said I sounded clear and there was no echo this time.
The phone came back in a right state though, absolutely filthy so not to impressed with that.
I noticed on the service card it said that they had updated to latest software version but a quick check on my phone led to disappointment, no ICS

It should be in a state you could complain about that to the company or to samssung
I would there supposed to have standards
as for ICS that is a gray area at the moment Samsung service centres ar not updating yet But Carphone warhouse are with there own
it is due out but the main thing is its up and working
still seems better then what Vodafone customers get.

I was reading the CPW saga in the thread about ICS and to be honest I don't believe a word of it.
I am even more annoyed about the state of my S2 now, I have just noticed a scratch in the bezel just above the charging port ![]()

Have you still got your ref number is so give Samsungs customer service a ring
To get to them select the apps section and ask them to transfer you
they will then handle this on your behalf
was there any damage on the pacaging if so ring the service centre up
was it well packed when they sent it back ??
Not all service centres are like this ..
I'm with you on the CPW as well
