Phone call problems

Hi guys

I recently updated my phone to the latest firmware and since I did the ability to make calls has gone haywire!

My phone is the Samsung Galaxy S2

Moments before I updated, I was using the phone and it was working perfectly. After updating the following happens:

When I put the call on speaker, I can hear the recipient and the microphone works but when I don't use speaker phone the call doesn't come through the ear piece and the mic doesn't work.

I can't use voice commands at all, but the mic obviously works because when it is on speaker phone the call works perfectly well.

Any ideas? I have updated to the latest firmware and factory reset my phone but to no avail.

Thanks

Re: Phone call problems

Never heard of this before bud. The only thing I could suggest is to roll-back to Gingerbread, check fone is working then update to ICS again. I think the 'Soupdragon' has a guide to doing this on this board.

Hi dalew4

Thank you for your post and a very warm welcome to the eForum.:smileyhappy:

There has been some great support here (Thank You).

It does sound as though the device may have developed a fault, please take the device to your local store and one of our experts will be able to take a look and advise you of your best options or alternatively we can arrange a postal repair.

Many Thanks
