Please share stock kernel and rom- lost backup

Hi all,

Rooted my phone to villain rom and very, very happy with it. However like a mupped I ve gone and lost the backups of the stock firmware and kernel.

Could anyone please share their stock rom and kernel please just in case something does go wrong with the phone.

If its from a phone bought past couple of months that would be ideal.

Thanks.

(I already have a reset dooberry to reset the rom counter)

It's all in one file.

Open Odin click PDA, browse to file. Change nothing else. Put phone into download mode, connect to PC and click Start.

Read up on instructions on XDA-Developers.

Hey guys, the file is now password protected. Any ideas what the password is? or the source of the file?

Re: Please share stock kernel and rom- lost backup

Any idea as to why it would be stuck in a boot loop. Thanks

Did you disable any Lagfix before you flashed?

Re: Please share stock kernel and rom- lost backup

Haven't disabled anything. Was on the insanity ROM, tried to go back to stock and its on the boot loop. Should I try another kernel? any other options?

Thanks for your time

Re: Please share stock kernel and rom- lost backup

Hey, fixed it. Had to wipe user data using the stock recovery mode (or you can use CWM), then flashed it with the original rom and kernel. Hope this helps anyone else. Thank you soupdragon. :smileyvery-happy:
