Samsung Galaxy S2

I have just purchased a Samsung Galaxy S2 and am struggling to get the message alert to repeat periodically.  Phone bleeps once and I cannot find how to set it to repeat.  Can anyone help please?

Many thanks

Re: Samsung Galaxy S2

Open the Message App, then press Menu > Settings.

There may be an option there to repeat Alert?

Re: Samsung Galaxy S2

Try Hancent SMS from Android Market

Lots more customisation.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S2

Hi IN RELATION TO ABOVE THE VOICE CONTROL/COMMAND FUNCTION ON MY GALAXY S2 KEEPS DEFAULTING AND RUNNING WHEN I HAVE STOPPED IT. VOICE TALK KEEPS ON DISPLAYING ON THE SCREEN SWITCHING BETWEEN THAT MY HOME PAGE AND THEN DISPLAYS A DISCLAIMER OR A TOTAL BLACK SCREEN. I HAVE GONE INTO SETTINGS BUT I AM UNABLE TO REMOVE. WHEN I AM MAKING A VOICE CALL THE SOUND ALTERNATES BETWEEN HANDSET AND SPEAKER ALTHOUGH NOT SELECTED AND IT WILL NOT RECOGNISE THE CHARGER. ANY IDEAS??

IF I TAKE IT TO THE STORE FOR REPAIR THAT IS THE 2ND TIME I WILL HAVE HAD THE HANDSET REPAIRED WITHIN 6 MONTHS.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S2

Hi Chris 13

With ALL the issues you seem to have, I would say the Phone has a fault.

Have you tried a factory reset? This "might" cure the problem?

Otherwise I think it will need to go for repair again unfortunitely. :smileysad:
