Sending texts

I am not able to send texts to an individual number with my phone.

I can call the number and receive calls and texts from the number. I receive a delivery report but texts are not received.

Anyone got any ideas

Thanks

Steve

[ Edited ]

No the SMS work completely differant MMS works via WAP

This sound possible SMS has been turned off on your accont

Contact secound teir Tecnical (not first teir )

Ask them to check your account oh and tell them to turn your MMS on as well that is why your not getting them

and is it just at home your having this problem ?

Re: Sending texts

The problem happens from wherever I am . It seems strange to me that only the one number is affected

Re: Sending texts

Only one Number ????

Ummmmmm

I have herd this

The number your sending to its there mail box

They might have mail box problems

can they recive from anyone else?

if you can send to some one else then your fine

another tip

Change the +44 to a 0 or the other way round

sometimes phones can have a block on international txts and the +44 may be getting rejected by there network

its a old thing but just a thought

Re: Sending texts

The alternative is the recipient has accidentally blacklisted you from sending them text messages. Do you know what handset they are using, some handsets have the facility to block SMS messages which may explain why you are being told they are delivered if the far end handset accepts them and deletes them automatically.
