Not received any text/email since the pre-order confirmation, so think I'm in a minority there? Just rang up to ask about order progress, and got told there is no stock, and that I'll receive it when they get stock....

Does this mean they have run out of stock, or think they have never had any, or what? Who knows...Will be interesting to see how many of those with tracking numbers actually get anything!

My DPD tracking number hasn't worked yet either but I am thinking it might be because its not today its being sent out? I am hoping so anyway lol

Guy I spoke to at the warehouse assured me mine had left the warehouse to go to the Birmingham store for delivery tomorrow and would likely get there early. I asked why I had not had an email confirmation of this and he hadn't a clue. I am going on blind faith that what he said was right and I can pick it up in the morning.

@rcf0 I'm in the same boat as you - I was only given a tracking number when i told the person on CS that other people had been given one

If you got a dpd consignment number today it SHOULD appear on their site around 8pm tonight

@rcf0 its ok. Your not in the minority, ive also not heard a peep from vodfone since i pre ordered online a couple of weeks back. Was also told they had run out of stock by cs.

Been following this thread for a while now, I upgraded on May 12th so wasn't really expecting to be in the 'first batch' but wasn't expecting to be leapfroged by new customers or people who are upgrading today, clearly my custom is not very highly valued

Anyway enjoy your new phones tomorrow everyone, who knows I may get mine in a few weeks, months, years time. ha

Oh also; it may be handy for me and the rest of the second rate customers if the people who get their phones tomorrow could post that they got it and when they ordered it on here (maybe in a seperate thread so its easy to see and monitor?). That way we can see how ordered or otherwise their system really is

Spoke to CS and they told me that my phone is going to be dispatched tomorrow. Should receive it on Friday. I requested email confirmation and he said it will be sent tomorrow. Please don't let me down VF. Ordered via web upgrade on 07/05/2011. Fingers crossed I will be playing with my new phone at the weekend. ?????????? Hopefully??????????

I had to pay £16 for my S2 but it hasn't left my account yet, nor have I received a despatch e-mail. Am just going to call Vodafone for the 3rd time and see what they have to say this time - so far it's been 1) will receive the phone at the end of the month as it has software issues and 2) they are out of stock, third time lucky maybe!

Just to confirm I have my tracking number, phone should be here tomorrow!!! Fingers crossed.  I have not had an email yet, but they assured me (I know that does not mean anything lol) but I have the tracking number at least!

Same as you. Ordered online on 7 May but i'm told they're out of stock.

Once someone on the forums confirms they have received their phone then I think CS will go into meltdown from the rest of us demanding ours as they will not be able to fob us off with the "out of stock/no stock received" line

I was quite passive about the delay until I was reading this thread today and yet still no comment from somebody in the know at VF

just sat on the phone in a que for ages. Finally got through to ask about my order. Told no stock arrived yet, so asked if she could explain why others are receiving tracking numbers etc. She said could you hold on and promptly CUT ME OFF!!!

Spoke to retentions (seem to get more sence out of them normally) who after 10 mins I managed to get her to ring the warehouse.

here's her response

" the warehouse have confirmed to me, they have received no sgs2's in stock at all yet"

"once they do start coming in, they will be allocated to pre orders 1st"

I dont think I've ever dealt with any company like this in my life, what the hell is going on?

Tom, You seem to have been left the job of feeding us with bits of information. Can you help?

3rd time phone call for today and again told it is "out of stock" and they can't give me a date it will be in stock. Lovely to see how they treat their returning customers. Hope all the people with tracking nos get their phones tomorrow, please let us know!

@Porroh I also got sent a PBOQ number, but only after calling to ask for it. She said a phone has not yet been allocated to me, but I could still get delivery tomorrow and that I would only get a text confirming delivery when the parcel was scanned going on to the delivery van.

Just checked the PBOQ number a second time on the Parcel Force site and it now works!

Just tried tracking number again on the Parcelforce website. Its now showing as Express 24 delivery and just been picked up from London North West depot at 17:12. Mine was ordered on the 9th of May so hopefully there hope for everyone who ordered by then at least
