Hello everyone,
I was due an upgrade today, and was looking forward to getting the Galaxy S2,
however the options open to me aren't really suitable!
So I was wondering what the team here could do to help.
Thanks in advance

Morning all
I too am due an upgrade. Had a phone call from Vodafone a few weeks ago purporting to have some 'special offers' for my next phone. Have to say if they were special, I wouldnt like to see the normal offers
I asked about a Sensation or an S2. Both 'offers' involved me paying out for the handset, which seems a bit off, given that I've been with Vodafone for years. Have had a look at my account online today and I can now get the Sensation free, but my uprade offers dont even include the S2 at all. I understand there are some signal issues with the Sensation and where we live, the signal is poor. Is it not possible for current customers to have an S2 (with a reasonably priced monthly plan) without having to pay for the handset?
Cheers

I have sent a text to the number you stated on the voicemail you left me last week. I have been away in France, so apologies for not responding earlier.
2 weeks left of my contract, so I hope there's some good deals?
I have found the followingon Dial-a-phone which interests me, but wondered if you could beat it:
Galaxy S2 £75
12mth Vodafone
£36p/m
300 mins
Unlimited Text
500mb
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi,
I'm now due an online upgrade and was hoping to see the S2 there but it is nowhere in sight! I'm hoping to keep a similar tariff to the one I have now and a free phone which I know I could get elsewhere but I tend to be a loyal customer and am loath to change. I realise this upgrade is classed as an early upgrade but the time is added onto your contract anyway so it's not as though Vodafone will be losing any of my custom.
Can any of you wonderful moderators help please? ![]()

Hi Helen,
Unfortunately I had a call from one of your team, but they were not even able to match the offer I had found let alone beat it. ![]()
I would have had to pay £95 for the handset, which I am very loathed to pay having been a loyal Vodafone customer for over 15yrs.
They said that in order for me to get the handset FREE I would need to take out an 18mth contract, but I do not want to be tied in for 18mths with a particular phone. I am happy to be with Vodafone throughout, but having my last handset for 2yrs has been really difficult.
I guess it's time to look at other providers
unless you can work some magic for me ![]()

EDIT:
Helen,
I've sent a text to the number you gave me to request a slight amendment to the offer on the 18mth contract. I'll take it now if you can sort out my request?
Please please please ![]()

Hi
I was wondering if a mod would be able to help me too. I have 2 phones on my account, one of which is eligable for an early upgrade now, the other on the 30th (which I don't understand as the contracts for both were taken out at the same time). The upgrade options on the website are very poor - one of which is to pay £45 for the same handset I already have! I was quite prepared to sit out my contract & get a better deal & the phones I want as a new customerwith another network, but having discovered this forum I thought I'd give it a go here instead.
Fingers crossed!!![]()
