Philtrick - I'm having the exact same problem. No Plans Available! For a moment, I must have tried something else and did get some upgrade options, but they are so poor compared with these price comparison sites. For example, one option was a £20.50 plan, with pretty poor minutes and data, and £199 for the phone! I can get better minutes, 5000 txts through dialaphone WITH Vodafone for the same monthly cost, and a £59 phone.
If I venture to 3 via Affordable Mobiles, I can get 900 mins, 5000 txt, 1Gb for £25 per month and the phone costs £4.99.
I am wondering if Vodafone have a cunning plan to drive their most loyal customers (15 years) away!!!

STILL NO PRICE PLANS 11_11_2011 21:47. After the moderator sent me an email (as per previously in the thread) I returned the required info, but still haven't had any contact back from Vodafone. The email said contact within 48 hours. I also rang Vodafone early last week and was promised a call back within 48 hours- Nothing.
To my mind that is a double failure :-(
Does anyone know why you can order a Samsung Galaxy SII on a 12 month new contract, but you only get the options for 18 or 24 month contracts on upgrades? If I choose an early upgrade to a 18 month contract that ties me in for almost 2 years.
In the past I used to get 12 month contracts and switch networks each year to get the best deal. I didn't want to switch but the carriers don't give the best deals to existing customers- WHY?? I'm very happy with Vodafone coverage etc., but at this reate it looks like a switch is coming up very soon.

Take a look at the dialaphone website. Some pretty good deals there right now, with all networks.

Hi everyone,
As you have no doubt seen, we're falling a little behind responding to individual posts as late on the eForum given recent launches.
So that we can manage all of our call back requests effectively, can I ask that those looking to speak to my team about an upgrade, early upgrade or upgrade issues with My Account via this Contact Us link. Please follow the instructions to ensure it reaches my team and do bear in mind that while we're this popular, we may not be able to respond in the normal 48 hours during this busy period.
You need only read some of the threads for people we've helped early upgrade to see we're worth the few days wait for those who really do want to remain loyal. ![]()
Cheers, Ben

Hi Ben,
Have sent this. I had also filled in the online upgrade form from the website over a week ago and still no-one has contacted. Seems Vodafone are not interested in keeping customers just signing new ones. Have been with Vodafone over 15 years and don't want to go but need a new phone on a good deal and will have to go elsewhere if I can't get it done soon.
Regards
Kamal

I'm now a happier Vodafone customer - although the process was somewhat laborious - for both me and VF. An exchange of emails, followed by a phonecall in which a few options were talked about before arriving at one that suited my requirements. The final cost? Parity with the deal that I could have got with VirginMedia. It's not "fantastic" value for money, but it's not bad ![]()
Phone so far is very pleasing - does what I need it to do, and a whole lot more. I've downloaded 3G Watchdog, Battery Solo widget, and Wifi Manager, asI couldn't find these sorts of monitoring tools on the device's own OS. Now to work how how/when I can use my BT Openvision quota...
I just wish VF was a bit more up front with the deals it could do.

For example: with orange,
24months -
- 600 minutes
- 3000 texts
- 1gb data
- Free Galaxy S2
For just £28.50 per month.
So as an existing customer, I expect at least this offer from Vodafone... Which I'm unsure whether they will. Orange are a well established carrier, so it's not like it's some unheard of company offering this.

See, this concerns me. I have done the twitter/email procedure and now just waiting for the call. But it's yet to be seen if they will do me a reasonable deal. I'm sure many people here have seen the kind of deals you can get on this phone...

I'm in the same boat, have got my PAC code and it looks like I'll be going elsewhere too. Will take my other two contracts away from VF as well if I do as I like to keep them all with the same carrier.

Hi,
Just wanted to say that Ben got back to me from the web team the following Wednesday, from my original Friday post and he did manage to get me a great deal.
It's definitely worth keeping in touch with them and knowing exactly what you want but being able to give and take a little.
I'm really pleased.
Cheers,
Philip

How do I get the web team to sort me out with a good upgrade deal on a Samsung galaxy s2..I currently have 600min + unlimited Texts no internet but I have seen the galaxy s2 deal:
galaxy s2 (white or black)
300 anytime mins
unlimited Texts
500mb internet
24 mth contract
£26p/m
but can't find anything like that on the vodafone website, I have been a loyal customer for over 11yrs and have a second line too but yet new customers get better deals....hows that work?
