I have a crack in the screen of my s2. It is still useable but i would like to get it fixed. how much will vodafone charge? Does anyone have anyother suggestion? I don't have insurance...but would be happy to back track the payments to cover it if that was a possibility.

Hi athomz,

Your best bet is to take it into a Vodafone shop for an estimate. My daughter's phone was sent off for a cracked screen and was told it would cost £51 though that is the cheapest quote I've had by far and did seem a little too cheap. It wasn't repaired for other reasons so can't confirm that that would have been the full cost.

I'd be very surprised if any insurance company will allow you to take out a policy now that is backdated by x number of months so you can make a claim against them.
