Why does it take forever for my phone to open any emails that i get ???  Like sometimes it's ticking away forever and i think it's never going to load the email, sometimes it doesn't...  But sometimes it is fine and loads it straight away.

Also it takes ages for the phone to actually receive the emails.

If you could answer TSD's questions that would be great, but to add, the speed of checking and downloading emails will also depend what network coverage you're in, with 3G or HSDPA checking and downloading faster, and EDGE or GPRS taking a little longer.

Does the speed match with the speed at which you can browse the internet on the phone at similar times or in similar locations?

It's also worth noting that the size of emails will have a big impact too.

I am using hotmail and gmail.

Internet is slightly faster than the speed that the emails load.

It alternates between 3G and H+

It tends to be all emails regardless of size.
