hi all

 i went into;- about phone--status ,and under"my phone number" it says unknown.I have read in another thread that this could be a faulty sim card .Is this the case or is it ok to leave alone.

Hi Darren

IMO its nothing to worry about, Vodafone SIM's do not present the phone number, its not problem.

Recently for 'geekyness' I put my SIM in an old Nokia handset that allows you to edit the number and set it, my Android phone now proudly displays it but makes no difference to day to day operation
