When i receive an mms the time shown on the message is always a totally different time to the actual time it was sent and received.How do i change the time settings on mms messages received so that it is actually received at the right time.

try using "Handcent SMS" or "GO SMS Pro" these can allow you to do what you want.

I sent my phone to vodafone for repair and never had this issue before just seems strange that when i receive an mms the time on the text is like 6-10 hours ahead of the actual time its received.

It's unlikely that this will be a setting on your phone. Does the error only occur when receiving messages from one particular sender or is it for every MMS received?

Also, are any other services affected such as SMS or call logs on your phone?
