Tip pop ups

Hi

Does anyone know how to get the tips pop ups to come up again? I accidently ticked do not show on some of them?

Do I need to do a factory reset? Would I lose all my text messages if I did this?

If you need them back you will have to do a reset, and you will losse your txt messages, but they can be backed up

But what are you having problems with ??

Or what is it you may of forgot on how to do ?

Re: Tip pop ups

Thanks Northern-dj. I guess I like having them there as a reminder as am new to the s3.

If I do a reset, will the phone be as I recieved it ie with the apps that voda had included?

Also backing up my texts etc, can I put them back on the phone easily?

Hi Bij - if you did a factory reset your phone will go back to the same state as when it first came out of the box.  It won't have any Apps on it other than the ones that come installed on the phone.

You can back up your Texts to your Gmail account using a free app called SMS Backup. The key thing would be to ensure you have a back up of your contacts. I personally would recommend having them sync with your Gmail account as the moment you sign in after the factory reset your contacts would be reinstalled.

As NDJ says - if you have any problems - let us know on the forum and we will try to help you out!

Re: Tip pop ups

Thanks so much. I was alittle worried that I would also lose the Voda apps that are on the phone right now?

Using sms back up, I can restore all my texts as they were?

Re: Tip pop ups

I'm using SMS backup+ at the moment and yes the Text and Call Logs will be returned as if they had never left the phone.

Re: Tip pop ups

you can get the manual in pdf format from here:

http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/GT-I9300MBDBTU-downloads?isManualDownload=true

I have it on my phone so I can check through it anytime.

Re: Tip pop ups

If you want to do the tutorial on how to use motion actions to do things (such as zoom in on pictures by touching screen with two fingers then turning screen), then you can check all of them all out at:
Settings - Motion - then click on the individual ones and there should be an option "Lear about..."
