I upgraded to the Samsung SIII yesterday.
Can you please help me, I called Customer Care to transfer the number from my normal SIM to the micro SIM. The normal SIM is cut off but the micro SIM has no service.
I dont know who else to ask for help at the moment, please get my micro SIM online so I can continue to have Vodafone service.
If you do call, you have to use the landline number, I have no Vodafone service.

Do you have your contacts on a computer? The easiest way is to get the contacts into gmail and sync them from there. Or you can use the awful Samsung Kies software to sync with Outlook. I have an Exchange account and contacts and calendar sync from there.
Don't know about the Samsung account - set up one but not sure what it is for.

Contacts;
From your Nokia - Export them to a .vcf file and copy this to your PC.
Log into your Gmail account, open contacts and click on the "More" Tab.
Choose import contacts from file, browse to the .vcf file.
All your Contacts will now auto-sync to the Phone.
Samsung Account;
Go to Samsung.com/uk and log into your account. From there you can alter your profile and change your email address etc.
NB. The Samsung account helps to push Firmware updates to your phone OTA and also offers some remote security features such as phone tracking, locking etc.
We had another member that had this problem and it took 15 hours befor it came live
