I find the big screen lovely but I do like to hold the phone and play solitaire with one hand when I'm on the London Underground and its a struggle with a phone that size.
On the iPhone, when I received a text of email a window would pop up showing me part of the text and I could click it and go straight to the message. Any apps out there that would do the same on the Samsung? If I click on the email notification in the pull down screen I go to the inbox but the email but not be in that folder. Any thoughts in that?

Getting a bit more used to the big screen, just need to get everything working.
When I got the phone, I am quite sure it was a returned item, the box was not sealed but all looked OK apart from the plastic covers not being put on neatly but there were no instructions in the box and with me being totally new to Android and Samsung, I had to figure it out for myself and from the internet.
Manual here if you need to download it.
I have to agree with NDJ - it would be great to have a SIM card adapter included as part of the SIM card.
AnnS - I am sure you already have it, but just in case you don't here is a link to the User Manual that you'll be able to download and save on your computer in case you need to refer back to it at some point!

I am really enjoying my new Android experience and learning more every day.
I seem to have got 5 screens on the phone and not quite sure how I did it, there are options for add to Home Screen, set wallpaper, home screen lock screen and Home and Lock Screen.
Just been looking at Kies but cant see which version to download to the PC, there is a download for windows and mac but cant see the download for Android.

I would not of accepted that
We have had some Galaxy Notes Tom did check into this and thought that they had been updated but there supposed to be resealed
There not supposed to send out broken sealed units thankfully this seems to be ok

Northern NJ, I admit I should not have accepted the phone, I should have called and returned it, the box was not sealed, the top had come off the box and the phone has fallen out of the box and into the DPD bag.
I inspected the phone, there did not seem any damage but the plastic film covers had been put back onto the phone without any care, and there were fingurprints on the phone which I cleaned off. The headphones had been put back into the packaging but used. The charger had also been used, the accessories and phone were not packaged as new.
It didnt feel a new phone, I would like to be the one to open the box.
It didnt mention anything because I did not want to appear a sickly customer.
I received the phone Friday, should I not at least have received a sealed clean phone, I am still in the 7 days return, can anything be done ?
Tom if you are reading this please help, I have just started a new contract.
