My contract is up, my S3 is working fine but I fancy a new gadget :smileywink:

so my question is should I go for an S5 I can get one with 4G for what I pay now

or should I wait a few months and go for the S6?

The Z3 would tick all those boxes for you.  Although I can't personally comment on the last one as I haven't had experience with the Z2 / Z3 (possibly one of the Z2 owners can comment on how durable it is)

My advice, as with any handset, would be to go and have a play with the demo handsets in your local Vodafone Store - that way you can really get a feel for the device and how it works.

I was very impressed by the Z1, and Sony's implementation of Android is neat.  Being Sony, it's quite entertainment-centric - but not intrusively so - which might appeal.

I was just coming on to suggest the Z3 but drey has beat me to it... Great minds etc... 🙂

The Z3 is IP68 rated which makes it the most waterproof phone on the market.
30 minutes underwater while switched on!
It can also withstand running water, so music in the shower is no problem!
Don't be put off by the glass construction, it is very robust and the Z1 I used never picked up a single scratch while I had it. ( It was never in a case...)

Channel 5's Gadget Show is back and they've just done one of their test-to-destruction stunts on waterproof devices.  One of them was a Sony tablet (Z2, I think) and it passed with flying colours.

I followed the advice on here and went to have a look to see what was around

I went with the intention of signing up for a Galaxy S5,  I had read all the reviews, watched loads of videos and had made up my mind, until I picked it up, it looked just like my S3 only bigger, bit further along they had an xperia Z3

picking it up it felt better and it looked better, so I read everything I could find and it will do all that I need,

so next the price OUCH £43 a month!

reading up on how to get a better deal I called Vodafone and they convinced me that I should stay :smileywink: and my new Sony Xperia Z3 in copper will soon be on its way

so I got my new phone and its great

HOWEVER! I was quoted £34.80 and not £43.50 I still have the full text chat and even though I have been in touch via chat and phone its still showing the full monthly term on my online account page

can a Vodafone Mod confirm that I will be charged the agreed price?

Your price plan will always show in your account before any discounts.  The discount itself shows on the bill. What does it show on your bill?

got the bill today and no discount, guessing this is because the bill will be for the old phone?

Can a vodafone Mod take a look and confirm please?
