Backup XT9 My words?

Hi guys,

Does anyone know if its possible to back up the XT9 My Words dictionary? This holds all the words you 'teach' the galaxy s that aren't in the standard dictionary.  Everytime i do a factory reset or upgrade these are lost so it would be really useful if they could be backed up.

To look at them in your galaxy s, go to settings> Locale and text> Samsung keypad> XT9 advanced settings > XT9 My words.

Cheers.

JDK.

Re: Backup XT9 My words?

Hi JDK1556,

I have taken a look into this and can't find anyway to do this. Threads I have read on other forums suggest the same.

I will take another look into this tomorrow and if I can find a way to do it, then I will post again on here.

It will probably be possible however you will need root access to do it!
