I have noticed recently that one of my contacts that usually shows up by their name when they try to call me, has recently come up as 'unknown' no name and when I answer the call, it doesn't go through so I have to then call the person I think it may have been who called and then they pick up.   Is this a vodafone service problem or a setting on my phone. I will keep checking to see if it goes back to normal soon and if it does then I know that it's a vodafone problem and not my phone.

What phone are you using...?

This sounds to me like your friend or whoever has stopped broadcasting their Mobile Number.

Have they recently changed their phone? Or changed their account settings with their provider, new tarriff etc?
