Cannot send/receive text messages from non Vodafone contacts

i have recently ported over from EE to Vodafone (about a month ago).  Since then, I have not been able to send or receive text messages from non vodafone contacts. i.e a text from someone on o2 or three does not come through and similarly sending them a text does not get through.  I can send receive texts to vodafone numbers.  I can also phone non vodafone contacts.  The problems seem to be around text messaging.  My phone is a Samsung Galaxy s3

It sounds as though the porting process may not have completed properly.  The Tech Team here should be able to help you and should pick up your post within 48 hours, so just hang on.
