DVD Free software to rip and convert DVDs onto my Galaxy S

Hi Guys off on holiday soon and I would love to put some of my DVDs onto my Galaxy S to watch on the plane, I can only find trial or pay for software, anyone got any suggestions, also what file format should I convert the movie to.

Hi martydrumm,
I use any video converter, free edition from here
It gives the option to convert to and from many different formats, though you would probably want mpeg-4 (.mp4) for your phone.

Try this NOT AVS but the Program below
Press here You can also watch Div X films But you will have the copyright issue on what ever you try cough cough lol

As this is technically ilegal..........I have to say I have never done such a thing..........but apparently DVDFab is great![]()

I'm not so sure this is illegal as I believe you are allowed to make a backup copy of any dvd or cd that you own or have purchased. I could be wrong but this is my understanding. I agree, I've also read that DVDFab is pretty good, though it doesn't like dvd43 apparently ![]()
