Galaxy S4 Mini 4.4.2 Software Update Serious Issues

Hi there,

My girlfriend updated her S4 Mini last night and it has caused serious issues with the phone. Apps now will not open, and when they do they crash almost immediately, and the phone is running at a snails pace. Even opening the settings takes a painfully long time.

She now can't use her phone at all, as all communication apps are crashing. Has anyone else had this problem since updating, and if so can you please help me to fix it for her? Cache has been cleared, but to no avail, and theres plenty of space on the storage.

You say you cleared the cache, but did you do a full factory reset?   It would be worth trying that (back up the content first if you can).   It would be part of the repair proces anyway, so you won't have lost anything by giving it a go.
