Re: Galaxy note

I'm mainly an Apple user but if you wanted a change from them I can't really think of a better time with the Note coming out and the Galaxy S III arriving.

I'd say the S III just beats the Note from the videos I've seen on YouTube.

Take a look at the below video - Tom from this forum reviews the S III at the unboxing event at Earls Court

Re: Galaxy note

It's going to come down to personal preference I'd say, if you want a big screen the Note is the way to go otherwise it's the S3. My guess would be coming from a 4s, the S3's 4.8in screen will seem a big enough upgrade as it is without going all the way up to the Note's massive 5.3in screen.

I have had a Note since launch and been surprised at how pleased I've been with the device, the large screen is superb (done away with my tablet as it seems pointless) and I've not had any issues with fitting it in pockets or using it as a phone. The S3 doesn't appeal to me as the Note is quick as it is so the S3 is a downgrade with its smaller screen. But I wouldn't for a second make a general recommendation for the Note, it's really a phone you have to try out yourself as I've never seen such a wide range of reactions to a device - some people cannot believe it's my phone, some are immediately impressed with the screen and curious to find out more and one person has an uncontrollable fit of the giggles each time he sees the phone.

Re: Galaxy note

I watched and read lots of reviews to help me make up my mind.
My GNote was intended to replace a small Nokia internet tablet and Nokia 6124.
I dont make many phone calls but in length it is no bigger than the smaller dect phone.
In my opinion not quite as pocketable as some say, but I have tpu gel case that makes
the GNote feel heavier.

Read the reviews and you wont be surprised by the reactions youll' get.

It might be stating the obvious but you need to two hands to operate it.

Re: Galaxy note

You need to look at what your going to use it for

@Tonytango Hope your on the mend

The Note is a PDA/Phone and the S3 is a Phone/PDA

Now making the switch can be a shock to the system but were all here to help

Now the Note can be used as a mini computer even with a mouse and you can attach a USB drive and the lead is only £2.00

Both devices are very good
