Hi,

I have seen a couple of other similar queries on this forum but I am also unable to send MMS from my Samsung Galaxy Y. I have been sent a configuration text and have also tried manually entering the MMS settings but neither approach has worked. I have called customer services to check my account allows MMS (which it does). The telephone support people thought it might be because I am using an old sim card but I have used this sim card to send MMS with my Blackberry, old Nokia  and a motorola phone, never with any issues whatsoever so I don't understand why I am having this trouble now. If I try and send an MMS I just get "incorrect server response" as an error message - I don't see how this would have anything to do with the SIM card.  Any help appreciated!

It does sound like settings, its quick and easy to change a sim card via a Vodafone store, (rules it out), if you are using a Galaxy Y, have you considered emailing photos where applicable, there are also lots of ways of sending photographs these days, Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, I fully realise this is not the point you are trying to solve, but also worth considering, I haven't sent a MMS for 2 or 3 years now !

Thanks! Yes, a new SIM is on its way in the post but wanted to see if anyone else had come across this/knew if was definitely a SIM card issue.  Unfortunately the person I am trying to send the picture message to doesn't have internet/data access on their phone just now so can't use any of the other options! Thanks for the advice anyway!

Absolutely, and it should be something that can be solved.

What happens if you try your sim in another phone, or can you try a known working sim in your phone, it then becomes easy to isolate sim (network) v phone settings.

If customer services have performed all the other checks and the SIM card currently being used is an old version then the switch has to be performed before any further investigation can begin as this could possibly be the issue.

Can you confirm if you are still experiencing this issues once the SIM has been switched?

I have the same problem with my Samsung Ace.  I have been in the Vodafone shop a couple of times and they have tried everything - checked settings, new sim card and tried the in another phone but do not seem to be able to resolve the issue and still get the error message - Incorrect Server Response

Any advise on how to reposlve this would be great.

This sounds a little strange.

I would like to take a look at your account and make sure you have all the access needed to be able to send and receive MMS messages.

I am having the exact same problem on my Galaxy Ace.
