I have been using my vodafone phone outside of the UK for four months now and recently changed my sim. Since then it is requesting a pin which I'm not sure about. I live outside the UK.

Hi, is it s pin for accessing voicemail or the phone itself?

The normal pin set for accessing a phone is 0000.

@ZoeyM

If the PIN is being asked for when you  try to use Voicemail it will be asking for the PIN you set before you left the UK. you cannot set up a voicemail PIN from outside of the UK.

Otherwise as @63johnw has said it will be the PIN for the sim card that you are being asked for.

It is worth using a PIN for your sim that needs entering everytime the phone is turned on, should you phone get lost or stolen it stops anyone taking your sim and using it to run up call costs. you can change the sim PIN to whatever you wish.

Since I live outside the UK I can't use this link as it is requesting a UK number solely
