PLEASE HELP!! LOL
My car wants to use rsap with my phone and when it does I cannot make or receive calls. I have identified that this is an issue with Vodafone sims as an O2 sum works fine. Can anyone help with this issue? Much appreciated in advance!😢

I can now confirm that Vodafone SIM cards DO HAVE ISSUES with Skoda bluetooth and the rSap profile.

Having had issues with random disconnects with my Galaxy S3 and Note 4, totally random, maybe a couple of weeks OK then disconnect from the car, then maybe reconnect to rSap, sometimes to basic hands free and maybe not at all unless I reconnected manually..

Since the 28th August until 17th October I tested the S3 with a Virgin mobile SIM, PERFECT, no disconnects and always connected to rSap.

On the 18th October I put in a NEW Vodafone PAYG SIM into the S3, just disconnected and reconnected!

Bear in mind I use the car Friday to Sunday only..

So I can confirm that the issue does lie with the Vodafone network/SIM

Thanks for you detail Stuart, it's what I had suspected all along, it's very frustrating and dangerous because you are tempted to lift your phone because of the lack of hands free.
Can anyone from Vodafone shed any light on this?

Thanks
Ed

It is annoying... VERY

Although my issue is different to yours, mine will connect and can be OK for a couple of weeks, or it can play up more often... then may or may not connect..

I am confident it is SIM card/network issues as the Virgin Mobile works perfect.. .

If you have an unlocked Samsung may be worth testing a Virgin Mobile SIM like me... Virgin Mobile 21 times perfect (Minimum) the PAYG new Vodafone SIM twice!

If I could move contracts now I would unless Vodafone can suggest anything??

I've spoken to our specialist team regarding this and they have confirmed that we're unable to give any advice regarding bluetooth and rSap connectivity.

So assistance with this, please contact the manufacturer directly.
