S Planner Reminder issue

I've noticed since the Kitkat update, if I have an S Planner caldenar or task event that has a reminder, even though I dismiss the even it keeps reminding me as though I have snoozed it and not dismissed it. Very irritating.

Has anyone else seen this issue?

Hi seast91,

Have there been any changes to S Planner as part of the Kitkat update?

If so, there may now be an auto-reminder period so that even though you dismiss the alert, it’ll still pop up a short time later.

Check the S Planner settings to make sure everything is set up properly.

Let me know how you get on.

Cheers,

Andy

Just had a thought...

As S-Planner is an Add-On to Android, I wonder if Google Now is picking up on the Task and forcing the reminder?

Might be worth looking into? Sorry I can't test it for you guys.

Google Now reminders aren't involved and I think they are very poor. They give you an icon in the notification area but no proper prompt. This is an S Planner issue with my Exchange account. I also use Pocket Informant to view the diary but that app uses the Android calendar for new events.

I can't see any settings changes for s planner. I don't think I had the problem though until I got my s view cover and I dismiss with s view window...any thoughts on that?

There are no S View settings and I dismiss (or try to) on the main screen. I've had the cover since day 1 and this issue has only appeared since the Kitkat upgrade.

Perhaps a KitKat / S-view issue - ?

Looks like the problem is caused by a combination of S-View cover and Kit Kat.
