Hello,

I have just received my new Galaxy Ace with a new SIM.

I want to set up my SIM card lock so the phone can't be turned on without a PIN.

But in order to do that I have to insert the PIN number and I didn't receive any info with the SIM card or the phone. I tried with a blank code which worked on my previous phone but it won't work.

where can i find my PIN?

The default PIN should be 0000 (zero, zero, zero, zero)

It should mention this in your User guide.

I have tried that already but it does not work...

open the dialer and type *2767*3855#

This will Factory Reset the Phone and should reset the PIN to the default 0000

This will also wipe everything from the phone!
