Samsung 360 M1 Problems

Hello ive had my phone for about 3 months now. From the day i got it ive had nothing but problems. Is it meant to be soooo slow?? is it meant to take 5 mins to read a new message, and about 20 mins (sometimes longer) to get in to my messages to write a new one, infact half the time i cant even get in to messaging, so i cant start a new message! Is anyone else having the same problem? Ive been advised by vodafone to update new firmware, which i have tried and PC Studio says i already have the lastest version. It crashes all the time, its actually the worst phone ive ever had. When i upgraded my phone i had my mind set on getting a Blackberry, but the sales rep in the vodafone store advised me the 360 M1 was the best phone, she has one n she would recommend, bla bla blaaaaa!! I feel really let down that a colleague of VF could suggest such a bad phone!
3 emails and 4 phone calls in the space of 2 days with no answer or help as to what they are going to do for me. Does anyone know vodafones policy for faulty returns?? am i eligible and would i just be given the same model again? i honestly dont know how these phones can be sale-able. Im stuck with a phone that doesnt work, in a 2 year contract! if i dont get answers or a replacement of a totally different model i will be going to trading standards. im sure they would love to hear from all those unhappy vodafone 360 customer.

Thanks Joanna

Good luck - be interested to see how you get on - also it might be worth a word with OTELO - I think they are beginning to keep an eye on this situation.

Samsung 360 M1 Problems

Hi thank you.

The facebook thing happens to me too. Mine never refreshes recent statuses, and its still got my status off 3 months ago as the same one, even tho i change it about 4 times a day.

I will definately be putting a complaint in. i will find out who with. i was never asked to 'test' this phone for them. we should be getting paid to use it never mind us paying for it!

Samsung 360 M1 Problems

My post detailing additional problems with the 360 service was removed from this forum for some reason by Vodafone admin.

Can only assume they don't want anyone else to know how poor the H1 and M1 360 phones are???

Despite your email being stupid/wrong/ridiculous, I still replied to it before I re-posted. Maybe you should check your email?

Please make sure that whoever contacts me has the seniority/authority to offer me a new phone. I am not tolerating using any "360" phone anymore.

Thanks

Chris

I too have had nothing but problems with this phone. Nobody in Vodafone seems to be able to tell me how you get emails on to your handset. Some guidance was sent to me, and surprise surprise it didn't work. I have been into a Vodafone Shop and they couldn't help. A simple question that I would like someone to answer for me please. How do I get 360 emails onto my M1 phone? They arrive in the inbox on Internet site, but not the handset.

Sorry to hear you're also having problems Edens307.

I'm afraid it seems to be that Vodafone have released this new "360" Operating System that just doesn't seem to work. My main issue though is that no-one at Vodafone seems to publically accept that this batch of "flagship" new phones they've released are all terrible, and no-one who signed upto a contract is getting what they were promised. I personally have problems with the phone going very slowly or crashing when using messaging/contacts/facebook/internet... even when calling people!!! How could they release phones like this????

Samsung 360 M1 Problems

Hi there edens307,

I've just tried to call you. I'll try again before 9pm. If you cannot pick up the phone I will not be in again till Wednesday of next week and I'll need for you to try the workaround but you need to follow the guide exactly as it's laid out.

Cheers,

Are you intending on calling me Lee, or are you just ignoring me... I appreciate Vodafone doesn't like customers who complain about the shoddy service they receive, but a proper reply without deleting my posts would still be polite.

I've also written a detailed email to the "fantastic" Vodafone Indian call centre, but haven't received a response yet... I look forward not only to that response but to yours too. To be fair, I'm just waiting for an acknowledgement that Vodafone have sold me a rubbish phone and can't resolve this situation so I can complain formally to OTELO.

Look forward to hearing from you Lee.

Samsung 360 M1 Problems

I too despise this phone. It's the worst phone I've ever used.

I posted up a detailed review/explanation on this site and it was deleted as well. Clearly nobody at Vodafone wants the truth to be out there. So I have made sure I have put my thoughts on every review site I can find.

All I get from Vodafone is emails from people saying how sorry they are and how my thoughts will be "passed on". My dad, who originally took out the contract for his business, is still stuck in a 24 month contract and has had to buy a PAYG phone to use instead. Awful service, awful phone.

Samsung 360 M1 Problems

Hi,

Is there an official response to why the M1 is so slow? I have a friend who has one, and she showed me it is extremely slow to do anything. Opening up a message takes about a minute. Its come back from repair no better.

Ive seen this complaint around a few times so was wondering if there is a known issue? Anyone else got bad experiences to share?

Samsung 360 M1 Problems

kriswithak, I'm afriad we seem to be a large group who Vondafone won't acknowledge.... They' sold us a phone and it just doesn't work! It's good to know I'm not the only person whos posts they're deleting to cover up this issuse though.

Chilly_Dude, I'm afraid there is no official response... I think thats the biggest issue for most of us - is that vodafone won't acknowledge that the 360 phones just don't work. Vodafone - ######## If you get a response please share with us, as Vodafone seem to be ignoring all their customers who were conned into using the M1 or H1.
