Basically I changed my pattern at around 12:30pm today and forgot it, and having tried to guess it too many times my phone is now locked.My only problem is that I can;t remember the email address or the password linked to my phone- I tried to create a new google account but apparently that doesn't work.I really need my phone to be unlocked soon, and I don't want to pay to have it done.Is there another way to unlock it?

Thanks for posting. Have you managed to resolve this yet?

There are a number of things you can try:

If you’re able to, select “Forget pattern” and enter your gmail account username and password. You’ll need to use the same account that was used to activate the phone and double check the password by logging in to that Google account in a browser.

If you don’t have access to the original Gmail account, you will need to do a hard reset. You risk losing your data though.
