Annoyed Samsung won't sell the Note 5 in Europe and looking to import from the US or Asia.

Can Vodafone state what variant works and is compatible with their 4g bandwidths so I know which part of the world to shop in.

Hi,

Using an import brings its own risks.

Often the the warranty is not valid in another country so do check.

Vodafone mostly likely won't be able to guarantee they can support it.

Vodafone uses these frequencies.

Frequencies used on the Vodafone UK network
Frequency Protocol Class
900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE 2G
1800 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE 2G
900 MHz UMTS/HSDPA/HSPA+/DC-HSPA+ 3G
2100 MHz UMTS/HSDPA/HSPA+/DC-HSPA+ 3G
800 MHz LTE 4G
2600 MHz LTE Advanced

Google for the frequencies that the handset supports.

Current Phone  >

Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512gb Phantom Black.

Hi.
I've got a note 5 here on Vodafone UK.
The think is the phone works nice on 3g but I think Vodafone don't have the settings for this phone so it is doesn't work on 4g.
Hopefully they will have a solution when Samsung will lunch the phone in Europe

Are you on a 4G plan? Have you entered the settings manually?

Hi,

I just received the Galaxy Note 5

N9200 4G LTE

and I am having real difficulty getting 4g to work on it. I wnet through the manual settings on their webpage but it hasn't resolved the problem. I would really appreciate any advice as I need 4g for my day to day phone usage so I'm a bit gutted that I can't get it to work.

Thanks.

sorry, this is a link to the model I purchased. As you can see it seems to supoprt the right frequencies for me to recieve 4g on it no problem.  http://www.eglobalcentral.co.uk/samsung-galaxy-note-5-dual-sim-n9200-4g-lte-64gb-sim-free-unlocked-g...

Thanks again.

Thanks for the quick replies. Yes it is set for 4g automatic connection and I am receiving H+ signal where i shuld be getting 3/4 bars of 4g from this exact location.

I am sitting  at my desk at home where my galaxy s5 on the prevoius sim (hato order a nono SIM for the note 5) was receiving 3/4 bars of 4G. That's why I am sure it is not a coverage issue.
