Samsung Galaxy S - FroYo Can Take Screenshots

Totally stumbles on this by accident. Froyo 2.2 can take screenshots. Took me a while to work out how I done it again. Press the back and home button at the same time and it takes a screen shot. This phone is not rooted!

Now lets see your screen shots!

Samsung Galaxy S - FroYo Can Take Screenshots

I had encountered this before but couldn't work out how I did it, I was stuck on a program, pressed loads of buttons and heard the camera go and saw the screen capture flash very quickly, and on Titanium backup I noticed there's an android.screencapture module! Well done!!!

Samsung Galaxy S - FroYo Can Take Screenshots

How to take a screen shot in FroYo

1) Hold (not tap) back button, (using right thumb).

2) Press Home button. Using left thumb. (You will hear a camera shutter sound.)

3) Pictures can be found in "Gallery" or "My Files">sdcard > ScreenCapture.

You can capture web pages as well, but it does take practice as it's easy to keep going back a page.
Remember point 1) Hold not Tap.
