Samsung Galaxy Tab - Pricing

When can we expect to see some pricing information on the Galaxy Tab from Vodafone?

Most other sites now have prices as the launch is very close now, but Vodafone still has "register interest".

I'd like to add a Tab onto my existing Vodafone business contract, hence would like to know pricing options ASAP to compare with other sites and networks!

Also, will this be a stock Samsung device, stock ROM, no Voda junk installed?

or if its gonna be riddled with bloatware...

I fancy getting one but I'm gonna compare deals and prices with other carriers. new customers tend to get a better deal with a different carrier whereas VF like to ###### on their existing customers so VF will be the last on the list to call for me i'm afraid.

The one from the car phone warehouse is unbranded and the one phones for you are doing is a VF one

So we are now at the Saturday ahead of launch and Vodafone are still at "register interest"?

Way to keep up with the pack.

I smell bloatware.

They have added the price finally, £499, rolling 30 day contract.

Pretty pathetic that it's taken till launch day for Vodafone to add a price (the same price that everywhere else has had for weeks) and there are not even any proper contracts!

Vodafone are really going downhill these days.

Complete and utter waste of time!

Looks like I'm going elsewhere. Can't believe I've been waiting for this announcement and then there are no proper contracts anyway!

This is why most people get a contract, so that they don't have to pay up front.

Oh dear.

Well that kills any chance the TAB had of taking on the iPad, then. Not Good Vodafone, not good!! One of the things I was really looking forward to with the TAB was using it as a phone with a bluetooth headset, but you don't have any contract options for that :(

Why isn't available like or a phone or at the very least a laptop?

And what happened to getting the details early if we registered on the page? I've no email, no phone call nothing!!

Rubbish

Totally agree.

Are any mods going to give us a reply?

Are you going to be offering call packages at any point?

It would certainly save us from wasting our time waiting.

Most people I know who were excited about the Tab is now pretty disappointed, some are now considering the iPad instead.

As it happens, just because Vodafone doesn't offer the deal you want, it doesn't mean you cannot get this on a contract.

Check out www.buymobilephones.net as you can get a Tab here at a heavily reduced rate and still get a Vodafone contract (24 or 18 months) from £25/mo.

Hopefully this doesn't get removed by the moderators, it's not our fault Vodafone's offers for the Tab are epic fail.

Thanks for that Philio.

I went looking on this website yesterday and saw the tab as a free gift but totally missed those deals!

So I take it you can't get the Tab with a normal calls/text/internet package?

Very disappointing, I was looking forward to upgrading to this when my current contract runs out. Now I'll probably so somwhere that does such a package - bearing in mind I've been with VFone for almost 15 years, I'm naffed off!

Can't agree with you more!

I have been watching the coming soon page for ages, waited for e-mails and then this is all that's offered after all this time!

Will a mod please come on and just give us a plain and straight answer about whether there will be any subsidised contracts?

Thank you.

Hi Guys

The prices that have been linked to by James are the all packages that are available from the launch date.

As these are only monthly contracts, there wouldn't be any subsidy as these require longer term contracts.
