Samsung M1/H1 Handset not fit for purpose

I've been a customer of yours since June last year when I was sold a Samsung Vodafone 360 phone and it has been unfit for purpose.  It does not do what it says on the tin.  No wi-fi; slow to  respond; loses all my texts and contacts - it has been in to repair twice and it's no better.  Please may I have a working phone or my £80 back?!  Thank you.

Hiya, if your phone is not working as it should then it can be sent for a repair, or a software update, which can resolve many issues, outwith this your issue would be account specific and would need to be raised off the forum, or by emailing via the contact us part of the web site

Re: Samsung M1/H1 Handset not fit for purpose

Hi aaj

I had an H1 and had numerous problems with it, after constantly sending my phone back and on the phone to customer services who were no help whatsoever, I sent an e-mail to the CEO of vodophone, if you type in google FEEDBACK TO CEO you should get a site where you can send an e-mail to them. You should get a call from a nice guy 2 days later offering you a new phone. Tell them you are happy with vodafone but just want a phone that works and does what it says on the box.

good luck

Unfortunately this forum has a long history of H1 problems - particularly sending it off to fix something that is wrong - even more peculiar as it might have just come back from a so called repair.
Good Luck and don't give up until you are happy!

Re: Samsung M1/H1 Handset not fit for purpose

Hi doodyfay,

Welcome to the Vodafone eForum from all of the team.

I never like to be the bearer of bad news however the 360 service is now in the process of being shut down.

It is currently closed to new registrations and the entire 360 service will be shut down in the next couple of months.

Due to this I very much doubt that there will be any further updates for the device or any more apps developed.

Can I ask if you are on PAYT or Contract? As we may be able to get a similar phone sorted for you as part of an upgrade.

James

hello again,

just a quickie? got a text message from vodafone telling me to visit the nearest shop for exchange of the samsung m1, 360 closed 1st december but all the shops keep saying the same thing " not got phones in yet" other than that they have not got a clue? can someone at vodafone please tell me when should we go to the shop for exchange? as you will already know that the phone does'nt function anymore!

Re: Samsung M1/H1 Handset not fit for purpose

Hey guys,

Thanks for your posts about your handset swaps.

I was on a conference call last week and the stock issue was a topic we discussed and it was confirmed that these have been rectified. Could you let me know which store you were at so I can feed this back to the relevant teams?

Cheers,

Lee
