Hi, I'm new to the forum but been with vodafone for a couple of years using a Nokia N900 which has been great.

Retentions offered me a great deal on the Note last week which I accepted though I was advised that it was out of stock.

I am just wondering if there is any way to find out when you are likely to get new stock in?

Now that I have ordered I am like an impatient kid in a toy shop

Unfortunatly there isn't a way for customers to check stocl. One of the eForum Team may be able to help out  when they pick up this post. Sit tight  they will be along as quickly as they can with whatever info they can get.

We were due to get around 700 units of the Note last Friday. Were awaiting updates here and monitoring the stock for those customers who have dealt with my team for their upgrade. Have you got anyone in the retentions department calling you back when they do arrive?

I am having a similar problem, I have ordered a note for my upgrade and nobody can tell me when it is going to arrive.

I have promised my current phone to a friend and it is causing difficulties between us that I am not able to give him my current phone yet.

Could I get an e-mail from someone as well? I was told when I upgraded that the phone would be delivered to the store yesterday and nothing has arrived and I am no closer to knowing when my phone will arrive

I had a call from Vodafone today to tell me my phone is one back order.

They are expecting stock very soon (however long that is - I'm guessing they don't really know themselves) and I should expect a text update when something happens.

That's the best I can tell you so I guess it's the same for everyone.

I haven't heard anything from Vodafone yet! lets hope they get the 700 units soon!

I only had a call because I asked them to call me with an update via the website, otherwise I don't think I would have heard anything either.

I decided to call them today, they told me they are expecting stock in tomorrow with my order shipping the next working day. So that will be Tuesday with the Bank Holiday weekend.

I agree,  I find it annoying that no-one gives you a straight answer - when I upgraded they supposedly had stock. 

'Customer service' seems to be calling you by your title and not answering your question.

I've had to faff around getting my email because they've switched my tariff so my BB doesn't operate properly which is very frustrating.

I've had an email update from Vodafone today, but only to say thanks for being so patient while they try and get my order to me.

Still no time scale ar any other difference to be honest.

Perhaps the email was just because I have now been waiting a week and they still have no clue when they are getting more stock.

my wife got one of these phones last week from phones 4 u because vodafone don't do it in white.they told us that they have load's of these phones in stock black and white one's.

I too ordered a note from Vodafone last Thursday, received an E-mail saying thankyou for being patient on the Friday and have heard nothing from them since.. Just made a phonecall to try get an update and the customer services representative had no idea when, she told me 'soon'.

Hope I'm making the right choice in saving £150 from switching from o2 to Vodafone.

A busy day for vodafone yesterday.

In the morning I had an email saying sorry for the delay, then in the evening I had a text and an email with updates, all saying sorry for the delay, the Note is out of stock.

So still no news really...

Good news at last, a text and an email today to say my phone has been dispatched, and the text thinks it should arrive tomorrow!

I won't hold my breath with it being a Saturday on a bank holiday weekend but you never know
