Samsung S4 Zoom Andriod Update

I've owned a S4 Zoom for a little over the year.

Why are we getting left behind on Andriod updates.

Im still on 4.2.2 when 4.3 has been out for over a year.

S4 Zoom can run upto firmware 4.4

With my S4 Zoom only running at 4.2.2 Im unable to use smart watches

because they require Android Wear on 4.3 firmware.

Reading Samsung own website.

http://www.samsung.com/us/support/gear/gear-fit-support/

My handset S4 Zoom Vodafone SM-C105 is not on the list of unsupported handsets.

When is this update being released

Why does Vodafone delay the issue of future software updates?

Before releasing any software updates, we test it thoroughly to make sure it provides the best experience on our network.

Our testing process begins as soon as we receive the software. This often happens once the manufacturer has already released an open market version.

As the firmware has now been out for over a year.

I have two choices.

1. Continue waiting in hope they will release an update (if they release an update) not they will tell you if they are or are not working on one.

or

2. Replace my perfectly good working handset for a newer model at a cost to myself.

Also cause im running on an outdated firmware. I'm not only missing features and the ability to use smart devices.

But I'm missing serval bugfixes and security updates. e.g.

Android 4.4.4

Leaving myself vulnerable to the OpenSSL Heartbleed exploit.

So if I was to become victim of this vulnerability would vodafone reimburse me for any loss. Because they failed to release update in a timly manner.
