Hi, I seem to be coping not too badly at all with my new Samsung Tocco Ultra but I am baffled & bewildered by this & hope for the answer, please?
I have already read on the forum that for SMS you need to create folders in which to put the texts you receive as the Inbox gets full up pretty quickly.
I created the new folders but when the texts are in my Inbox and I go to move them to folders, I am given the choice (in one option) of moving to Memo or Schedule - not what I want!
When I try to move to the folders I have created, I cannot "select" the SMS in the Inbox in order to move them. They appear "greyed out". I tried "Select All" but the tick does not appear by the texts and I cannot move them, no, not at all.
So, your help will be most welcome here, please!
Many thanks, Maggie

Hi Maggie Maybe and welcome to the eForum
I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems here
Lets clear them up for you.
First of all, it isn't necessary to create folders if you don't want to. The Tocco will fill the SIM card first of all, once this space has filled it will then default to phone memory so don't worry about that.
To answer your question about moving to folders, the message you wish to move must be on the phones memory to move it.
Open the message you wish to move, click 'More' then 'Move to phone' This message will then be available for you to move to folders within the 'Move to my folders' option
I hope this clears things up for you and if you have any more questions just let us know and we'll be more than happy to help you further with this
Thanks

PS if you have a spare second or two would you mind popping onto my signature and filling in my feedback link. Thanks

Hi Wayne & thanks.
Yes, after much fiddling around with the problem, I realised that I had to first save the SMS to the phone and THEN to the folder! I also had to do the same with the Contact Photos.
Much appreciate your help though.
Many thanks, Maggie
