Select All function on Nexus one??

Hi all, for a while I have been getting email messages from my yahoo inbox being displayed as unread on multiple occasions, this is after actually reading the email in the 1st instance and then marking it as read using the option on the inbox on the phone. I guess this isnt an issue with the phone but an issue with Yahoo not sending a "read" message to the phone when it automatically checks for emails.

A feature the phone seems to lack in the email menu is a "select all" option so that I can quickly select everything and click the "mark as read" option. Instead I have to tick every email that appears highlighted as "unread" and then mark them as read. Is there any trick on the handset to select all emails between 2 points on the list or even just everything on the list? I noticed when I ticked a couple of emails and tapped the menu icon it gives an option to deselect all but thats it.

If its not a feature that the inbox client on the phone offers then can anyone suggest a 3rd party app that handles the emails better (kind of like how Handcent SMS replaces the standard SMS client)?

Thanks

Hi sam_marshall1

I can understand that this is frustrating; it is a bit strange that there isn't a select all option on the phone.

If any of our fantastic members can recommend an App that would help, that would be brilliant :smileywink:

Thanks

Are you using the Yahoo Mail App?

This is a little flaky on G3 fine on Wifi

You need to sync you account after reading your emails

The OTA updates that is overdue should also fix this issue, unless you have rooted your phone.

Best of luck

I have select all in the email app (and it is massively useful), but it might be a CM change.
