Unable to delete old calls from my Samsung

I have a couple of old calls in my' recent contacts'....I managed to delete them from my 'dialled numbers' and 'received calls'  but for some reason I cannot delete them from 'recent contacts' and they are just sitting there taking up space. They are both numbers which are not in my contacts list, one was an incoming call from an unknown number and one was a call I made to a mobile number which did not answer anyway so the time for all of these is 0.00. Has anyone else come across this? I have no idea how to clear them from my recent calls but I really need to clear this list up. Any advice much appreciated. I have a Samsung Xtreme B2100, not a smart phone of any kind. I hope this all makes sense! Thanks.

Re: Unable to delete old calls from my Samsung

Hi jenwuz,

Unfortunately I don’t have access to the phone in the office to test this for you.

However, looking online user guide you should be able to remove the calls by selecting Menu – Call Register – Delete Recent Calls – All Calls.

Give this a go and let me know how you get on.

Re: Unable to delete old calls from my Samsung

Hi, Its odd, both numbers are on my reject list, so I took them off the list and then was able to delete them. But the next day they were back again! I have no idea how this could happen. Im trying it again to see what happens, but I dont understand how something can be deleted and then appear again the next day? Thanks for your help, I'll try deleting all recent calls if this fails again. I wanted to keep some of them so will hope that by fiddling with the reject list I'm able to get rid of them. I wish I was more technical!
