Vodafone Protect locked my Samsung Galaxy

Hi

Vodafone protect app locked my samsung 4 days ago.  I have since tried to get the pin to unlock it to no avail.  When you log in online it sends the code to your phone, which I can't use! I have also called vodafone 3 times and they don't seem to understand my query.  Last time they said they would send the code by email, which they did.  But they have just informed me that my phone is not locked!! I have now been without my phone for 4 days.  Can someone help please?

Hi, you could put your sim in another phone and request the code.

As a last resort a factory reset will put your phone back to its original state and deactivate protect.

Hi @jennystraumers and Welcome to the eforum.

Good advice by 63johnw

I assume you won't be able to access the phone to perform a factory reset within the phones own settings so you'll instead need to do a Hard Reset. Be aware this will delete any data in the phones memory.

Please use Google to search for the Hard Reset process for your make of Samsung phone.
