Well i have just updated kies WOW what a Pain that was took for ever, But There is a new feature called Firmware Upgrade settings

Now that opens there is a list box and a box to tic now it looks like we can now pree download firmware i think, So that saves a bit of hart attacks when it used to go wroung

But this is not the update were after is it ???

I updated my Samsung Galaxy S last week with 2.2.1 Build No. FROYO.BUJS3 after updating to this version it doesn't give me option to stay on gsm mode as auto or cdma/3g mode is only available which is too much battery consuming with vodafone because you hardly get 3g signal

does any one when vodafone will be sending us new update 2.2.2 which i heard is better with battery consumption

We have alot on this on the 2.2.1 thread vodafone no about it and thats it there fix is well you have to wait for the next update
