Hi,

Since the 2.1 update I noticed that some of my texts weren't being responded to. It turns out it was because my phone was sending them to completely random numbers,

This is a recognised bug by google (has been for over six months) so I had two questions:

1. Are you aware of a fix?

2. If not are you going to look into one.

Just to let you know, we are aware of this known issue, and we are also awaiting the fix for this. If we have any further information, we will post it in the eForum.

As you mentioned this is a known bug and the good news is that it has been fixed in the Android 2.2.2 release.

Not all handsets have recieved this update so you may or may not have it available to you

What handset do you have?

Sadly its a known bug... I can't remember if the latest X10 firmware has resolved this but I would advise on using a 3rd party SMS application. My personal recommendation is Handcent (free) - https://market.android.com/details?id=com.handcent.nextsms&feature=search_result

Its one of my fave apps and have been using it since the G1 days. Try it though and you might like it enough to replace the stock SMS app.
