surely now that we have had this information that WE have had to find out for ourselves due to very little/ NO interaction from any vodafone dept the mods on here should have updated one of the threads with the situation OR more to the point vodafone custmoer communications contacted us via email like they did when it was delayed simply stating:-
we have be in discussion with SE regarding the ARC and they have advised us that it is now being released on 15/04, there will be a countrywide shortage, however, we are aiming to act as quickly as possible to get all available handsets sent out and continue to do so until all the backlog is clear.
HOW ON EARTH can they keep saying we have no further information regarding this matter?? surely they could simply get an email out, or put a thread on here.
the problem I have is that yes the problem MAY well have now finally been resolved BUT, the amount of progress chasing that myself and other long serving customers and new customers to vodafone have had to do, I accept that delay was not vodafones fault and I sympathise immensley with the tragic state of Japan, however as the fault does not lie with vodafone, the problem does!!
The problem being that all us customers have been left in the dark for nigh on 3-4 weeks, I cant help but think if Jim Mcdonald (corrie fans) charged into my bank like he did on corrie, wiped out my account, and I did not tell vodafone about this if I had a bill to pay then I would be cut off long before we got anywhere near 3-4 weeks, my point being it wouldnt be MY fault but the problem would now lie with me and I would and should have to contact my bill people to let them know the situation.
