right.. im setting my alarm for 9:00am Saturday morning... No email by then and I'm gone.... Until someone posts on here saying theyre getting the shipment on Monday and we'll get it tuesday and back round we go on the magical mystery tour that is the all to well known vodafone experience!

Actually... I take it back.. Im going to stop blaming vodafone and blame Sony Ericsson. After all they sent Woolworths down so theyre not an innocent little outfit.

Im not sure how common or tru the knowledge it is but Sony forcing Woolies into buying the PS3s up front was what put them under. Woolies couldnt afford to not sell the PS3 back then so they boiught them and went broke.. but that may or may not be true

Are we taking the wrong tact here? Are there loads of people who arent moaning and complaining quietly sitting there with their shiny new arcs? In fact Vodafone are sitting on a huuuuge pile of them and smiling contently as they look at our comments!! lol

ok so as far as i gather after speaking with kyle!!!!

the arc is being released by vodafone tomorrow, the stores will have limited stock for saturday and those who pre-order will have there phones within 7 days so next friday at the latest! also if you early upgraded online you cannot have one of the phones from the store as you are not eligible, they are for new or expiring customers only! WELL ISNT THAT NICE!!! SOD THE ONES ALREADY PAYING YOU £35 PLUS PER MONTH LETS JUST GET MORE CUSTOMERS TO P**S OFF!!!

Plus vodafone stores are running the Arc as their hero phone this month so its no suprise they will get their phones before us!!!

at least we have a release date tho!!!!

First problem I've ever had with Vodafone and the lack of info is just appalling! 

The fact that everyone is getting different info is also awful.

Have a word Vodafone, this is poor.

I placed my pre-order of Arc on 31st March, expected it to be delivered by 5th April. No email update from Vodafone at all. It looks like they don't care about us....

Just been to local Phones 4u store and they do have Arc(s) in stock on Vodafone. I though Vodafone has bigger purchasing power than 4u? How come 4u have stocks earlier than Vodafone?

The purchasing power is slightly irrelevant. This stock issue is down to the Japan disaster which we all empathise with and understand that it was totally out of Vodafones and SE's control. Vodafone were obviously just unlucky that it was their shipment that affected. Considering its only a phone that has been delayed by a catastrophic event that has devastated peoples lives we probably shouldnt be so flippent about the delay. The actual issue on my part, as is with alot of people here is the lack of communication to the resolve. Someone mentioned about how easy it would be to send a daily bulletin to everyone which I agree with as it would stop alot of calls to their centres. I dont think Vodafone were prepared for such an issue and had/have no idea how to deal with it. Maybe future planning is needed or retraining in staff, who am I to say but on the whole I'm sure Vodafone will admit, they've not shone in regards to handling the situation.

Apparently my SE Arc has been dispatched today!! Ridiculous!

According to "Sheldon" it should be with my tonight or tomorrow morning by the latest.
