SONY XPERIA Z2 FREE TV OFFER, 1080p or 720p?

I have received my Z2 finally and im over the moon with it.

I have a question regarding the TV, im 100% eligible received text etc.

But the model number is very much in question in the sony t&c's the model number given is 1080p

However in the topic from vodafone the model number given is only 720p.

Does anyone know if its 1080p or what? Or should I ring Sony direct, any ideas on how I can get a concrete answer?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Coehide,

It's 1080p. :smileyhappy:

Thanks,

Kay

Looks like the 40" model is 1080P capable but the manual says max 1360x768 47.7Khz, 60Hz for the 32" model (KDL-32R43B) which is the free one I just received. That should set the cat amongst the pigeons........

Edit: my error - that is the PC connection; the sky box connected shows 1080i so I guess it is a 1080 HD tv.

Just got my TV.  It is the KDL-32R433B

So it's 720p despite 2 Vodafone reps saying it's 1080p? Figures whole thing has been an absolute joke.

Not really, mine is definitely 1080P

Eh? Explain

Arrived today and detects 1080P from my tv box & displays it on screen to confirm..

Coukd I ask what is the warranty with the TV if there is any fault with TV down the line

There will be an initial warranty (prob 3 months) then you have to go on sony website and register the model number etc for the 2-3 years warranty.
