Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Firmware Update.

I use Startup Auditor (Paid) and does the trick nicely. I think the X10 battery is as extended as much as possible as it stands with the current firmware with the settings I have, considering my Dad doesn't use any social networks as well. How's everyone elses battery life?

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Firmware Update.

I haven't changed any firmware settings but I have downloaded JuiceDefender (free version). I've tried not to use my phone to tets the battery life and it is as follows:

59% remaining, 19h 40m since unplugged

I've used to camera for a few minutes and unlocked it a few times to check the battery but to have this level of battery life left is simply amazing! I cannot recommend this app highly enough as by now I would have had to charge my phone twice since unplugging it.

Yeh, my battery use has improved with JuiceDefender, a Task Manager, a few full discharge/charge and strangely dramatic improvement when hard power cycling a few times (removing battery).

Still on old firmware (14) but i'm now much happier with it, still recommending it to people but warning the battery issue needs a little homework.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Firmware Update.

Overclockers is a good place ^_^ I think I might migrate back to AVForums again if my account is still active there as well.

I was talking to a T-Mobile rep and he thought the X10 was running Android 2.1 but I assured him its still 1.6. Unless I've missed the boat somewhere!

Battery life seems fine now so there's not much else to report other than using Juice Plotter and Juice Defender. Ultimate Juice is handy if you require more advanced tweaking.

Since I haven't had the handset with me for a while, is there a .18 firmware in the wild?

So it looks like there is another firmware update, R1FB001, being rolled out across europe. Vodafone are now 2 firmware updates behind.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Firmware Update.

So this debranding process, i have a problem with the tutorial in that the files shown in the blob_fs folder after the first update are no greater than 10kb. Which ones do i replace?

I appreciate this invalidates the warranty, but given that this first firmware update addresses the battery issue that i have little choice. Sony Erricson responded to the problem, Vodafone have delayed releasing the firmware for their own reasons.

Andy one question after reading all the esato if you can't use seus to update your phone what do you do when updates become available might seem like a silly question but am a novice (total) with this debranding and don't want to screw my phone up.
if you can help with a problem great do it. If your just here to ###### people off then sod off!!
