Re: Sony PlayStation Vita WipEout 2048 Offer

I got the vita on monday(28th may), didn't set it up till thursday(31st may) tho. I topped up on the vita through the top up online option, I've recieved messages telling me I've topped up and welcoming me to Vodafone broadband(this came almost 24hrs after top up) but no message with the wipeout 2048 code.

I've also read people mention about getting message saying their sim is registered/activated tho I've not recieved such a message.

Re: Playstation Vita - Some Businsess Exception

I've had a callback (of sorts, as it was originally related to not being able to see my balance. Something else that seems common with the Vita SIM activations, it seems.) but the rep originally told me the offer ran out on 21st March. He suggested I buy the game and they'd "credit" me; not realising that it's £30! Looking at the web site, though, it is March 21st 2013! So, just a bit still in the time period for the offer!

NOTE: the terms and conditions DO state that they can withdraw the offer at any time, and the Vita Price is still £279 on the web site, so if you haven't got your download code, get a complaint on the system ASAP.

It is possible that Vodafone are being (too?) generous with this offer and may pull it soon. I don't want anyone who has purchased in good faith losing out.

I've been told I'll be getting an email soon, either with the code, or with instructions on how to get it. Can't help but feel for these guys though: it's not their fault that the IT system at Vodafone is flaky, but they have to pick up the flack and take the frustration.

For the support team, thanks for keeping with this. It's not you letting us down.

Hi DoctorMikeReddy

Thanks for your reply. I can see that the code was sent to via e-mail on 3rd June. I have forwarded the e-mail onto you again this morning with the relevant code.

If you still haven't received this please let me know.

Thanks

Re: Sony PlayStation Vita WipEout 2048 Offer

I never received the email dated 3rd June - I have checked Junk, etc - and the code you sent DID NOT WORK! I get the following error on PSN:

"The code you entered may not be correct or may be invalid. Please check that you entered it correctly."

I have entered the code you sent correctly, and it doesn't work. Please send a working code.

Re: Sony PlayStation Vita WipEout 2048 Offer

Could it be that you have mixed me up with one of the other cases?

Re: Sony PlayStation Vita WipEout 2048 Offer

I have accessed PSN via the computer and it has confirmed that this code has already been used. This would explain why it wouldn't work, which leads me to the conclusion that you have indeed sent this to someone else, and then to me in error.

I, therefore, would like to request a working code.

Re: Sony PlayStation Vita WipEout 2048 Offer

Hi dave_,

I’m sorry to see that you have had issues topping up your device however; can I ask if this was done through the PS Vita or via a normal PC?

The reason I ask is that you will need to do it via the PS Vita to get the game code automatically sent.

However, if this has been done via a PC you don’t need to worry as we can get you the code manually.

If you would like us to do this simply follow the instructions on the PM that I have sent to you and one of our team will be able to pick this up for you.

Please don’t forget to include your contact number and the number for the PS Vita in your email.

You can find your PM inbox here.

James

Re: Sony PlayStation Vita WipEout 2048 Offer

[ Edited ]

well I'm over 3 weeks(23days if my maths is correct) into having topped up but no code.

I haven't contacted the vodafone support through the method davecd pm'ed me yet but have been to the vodafone store in town couple of times who phoned up cs.

first time(6th june) I got told that my sim had not been activated on their sysytem and I had to do a manual roam on the vita which I did but didn't get my code so went back the following week(13th).

2nd time I was on the phone for half an hour and in the end got told they can't see anything wrong and not sure why I haven't recieved the code, said they will pass my case over to the fault finding team(or something along that line) and it could take upto 7days which it been but not got the code or heard from them yet.

I just checked under my account and it says £0 for balance, its not been 30 days since I topped up and not used up the 250mb so where has my balance gone? for ages it was saying unable to show the balance error.

btw if I when I click on the contact us in the pm do which option do I choose when I get to that page? is it the online email form? as in the pm it simply says to click contact us and complete the detail requested no mention of having to click anything else, clicking contact us doesn't give the required form rather the different available options.
