iPhone4s to Xperia Z3 compact data transfer .... how long?

I'm transferring (allegedly) all data from iPhone4s to new Xperia Z3  using the cable and the Xperia transfer programme. It appears to have transferred all contacts, texts etc but appears to have frozen completely now it's transferring music. It's been almost an hour as I type and it's hammering the battery which concerns me given the Z3 battery is supposed to be the greatest thing since sliced bread. Right now I'm on the verge of sending it back and going iPhone 6!  Anyone else experienced transfer problems?

If you still need help with this, follow solution two here.

If that doesn't resolve things, pop into your nearest Vodafone store so we can transfer your contacts, photos, music and videos via RED Box.
