When logged into the https://www.vodafone.co.uk/ as a consumer customer I keep getting a notification that vodafones website certificate has been revoked.

The message is as per the attached.

Says used by the server - studiouk.vavs.vodafone.com

Browser = Firefox 53.0.3 (64bit)

AV = Eset Smart Security.

Hi @beachsnap, please clear your cache and cookies and try an alternative browser.

Keep us updated with your results :smileyhappy:

HI,

I had already done a cache empty & cookie delete.

Still get the certificate revoked warning both in Firefox & Opera........

Seems my Antivirus has intercepted the revocation as there is a note at:-

http://support.eset.com/kb6258/

So seems Vodafone need to go round all the servers they forgot about and update to unrevoked certificates.

Can you pursuade them to update studiouk.vavs.vodafone.com then I won't keep getting the warnings and will feel more confident that the server is maintained as it should be and is secure, as its causing me very slow connectivity to the consumer login page etc.

@beachsnap - Thanks for flagging this and testing in another browser.

I’ve fed this back internally.

It's now 14th June and it's still happening

Just thought I'd let you know.

Thanks for letting us know @beachsnap.

So we can look into this further, what page are you accessing when receiving the certificate message, and what exact steps are you taking before the message appears?

Same has just happened to me - using ESET Internet Security (continuously updated) and both IE11 and Firefox 54.0.

Basically, Vodafone needs to make sure all of it's server certificates are kept up to date.  Until then, I have no confidence in the security of your systems...

@HenryHonda - Please let us know which page you’re accessing when you see the certificate message and what steps you took before the message appeared.

Once we’ve got this info, we can look into everything further.
