Account problems and the Sure Signal

I bought one of these babies and I'm glad I did. Vodafone signal around these parts suckks really badly despite being 1 mile from the nearest big town and 9 miles from a large city. The whole area sucks for Vodafone and it isn't a phone problem.
Ok, the problem I'm having and this is a weird one. The problem is not with the Sure Signal per se. My phone is on a corporate contract so thankfully I don't pay my bill as it is for work.
Because of the dreadful signal problems around here I bought one of these and things were great once it was registered to me and it had configured itself. Oh, on a side note, the configuring doesn't take a few minutes like the booklet says. It takes bloody hours. Each time I get a power cut it has to go through this rigmarole of reconfiguring and it takes forever. May as well leave it over night. It does sort itself out but don't hold your breath.
The problem began when I needed to register it because I am not the account holder. This needs to be sorted out. However because I was able to provide the account holders name the lady on the phone allowed me to link this box to the corporate account. It is rather silly that if I have a phone on a coporate contract I would not be easily able to register a sure signal box if I'd bought it myself outside of the company.
The next problem is that because noone had set themselves up as an administrator of the online account, I went on there armed with my number to sort out my suresignal box and suddenly I am the administrator for the company online account. I get emails telling me the bill is ready to be paid and how much it is. I don't need to know this and I shouldn't be getting this information. How can I stop this?

Hi Isavidge
Thanks for your post. The only way to stop this would be to de-register your number as the owner of the Sure Signal and re-register with another number. You can register the device under a PAYG number or a consumer Pay Monthly number and then add your corporate number as a user.
This way you you can manage your own Sure Signal box without the need to access the details of the corporate account. You can request a free PAYG SIM online here - Vodafone PAYG SIM.
Thanks
Simon
